3.2.3. Panel Construction

»» The wood used for the structure was selected, straight and with regular edges.

Once the elements were ready, the panels were assembled according to specifications.

»» A horizontal crosspiece was placed on higher panels to counteract the stud’s height.

»» Corner panels, on which roof rafters and joist rest, include a beam or top girder spanning on the ends and serving at the same time as support for the lateral eaves.

»» The panels, where fittings and plumbing were fixed in, have wooden crosspieces placed horizontally between studs, to hold them in place. The same procedure was used for the fixing of electrical boxes (outlets and switches), which should be placed to match covering width.
