A 50 cm cyclopean concrete foundation was used
over a compressed filling.
This foundation has a 12 cm high subflooring,
laid simultaneously with the footing, on which all the house
walls will be laid.
The subflooring’s function is to support
and strap of the panels to the foundation, isolating them
from floor level and serving as barrier against humidity.
For strapping the panels to the subflooring
iron bars were placed (Ø 6 mm.), before laying it,
they were separated 5 cm. in traverse sense to the girder,
and a variable distance in longitudinal sense, considering
placing them in the ends and in the thirds of the longitude
of the panel.
On the top surface of the subflooring a layer
of tar was laid as shield for any humidity that may appear
for capillarity in winter time.
