The house is located at “Los Algarrobos”
land development on the Guayaquil-Salinas road Km 20(15 minutes
from the North of the city).
Vegetation
The place has endemic vegetation characteristic
of warm climate, Ceibo and Carob trees, Mangroves, etc.
Topography
The place is characterized by diverse topography
ranging from slight slope elevations, to steep ones typical
of the Chongón - Colonche Mountain range.
Climate
The place presents two climate types; tropical
dry from June to November, and tropical humid from December
to March, characteristic of the coastal region of the Guayas
Province. In our case the climate is modified by the strong
predominant winds coming from the South-west.
Country-City Relationship
The land on both sides of the road to the coast
is the only possibility for urban growth in Guayaquil, being
at the moment one of the areas with more city-planning development
due to many opportunities: an excellent road network, the
landscapes and microclimates of its environment (hills, estuaries
and forests) and there is also a good educational, residential
and commercial paraphernalia along the road.
On Km. 17 and 20 are “Puerto Hondo”
and “Nueva Esperanza” village, they both maintain
rural characteristics, and are supplemented by the tourist
attractions of the place.
